The e-course on food system transformation held its third webinar on March 8. The session was facilitated by Ir. Joost Guijt, Knowledge Manager at WCDI. Here you can watch the presentations by our two guest speakers:

The first presentation is by Proscovia Alando, founder and CEO of Samaky Hub, an aquaculture consultancy targeting small scale fish farmers in Kenya. She is also co-founder and head of business development at Ressect, a start-up in Nakuru that specialises in farming black soldier fly as an alternative protein source for animal (fish) feed.

The second presentation is by Dr Sigrid Wertheim-Heck, associate professor in global food system sustainability at the Environmental Policy Group of Wageningen University, and professor Food and Healthy Living at the Aeres University of Applied Sciences. She will be talking about why transforming food systems is quite a radical concept and the challenges it brings. What does it mean for you? Where could you see desired transformation taking place and what brings about such change?
