The dairy advisory landscape in East Africa is as diverse as the region itself, with a variety of models catering to different needs and circumstances. Input suppliers provide guidance on animal health, nutrition, and breeding, while cooperatives offer a wide range of services, from milk collection and processing to market linkages.

Digital platforms are revolutionizing access to information, connecting farmers to experts and resources through online forums, marketplaces, and knowledge repositories. Financial institutions offer financial literacy training and tailored products to support your investment decisions.

Processors, deeply embedded in the value chain, organize field days and model farms to demonstrate best practices for milk production, while consultants bring specialized expertise to address specific challenges and opportunities.

This rich tapestry of advisory services underscores the importance of collaboration and tailored approaches. By understanding the strengths and limitations of each model, you can identify the right combination of services to suit your unique needs and aspirations.
