The Asia Netherlands Water and Food Learning Week (ANWFLW25), organized by the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP), the Netherlands Food Partnership (NFP), RVO and Wageningen University & Research (WUR) , on behalf of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will take place from Monday 7 April – Friday 11 April 2025. During the ANWFLW, 7 teams from 6 countries in Asia will be present in The Netherlands. The project teams all consist of approx. 3 governmental officials and ADB counterparts resulting in a total group of 30+ participants that will be participating. The teams all represent active ADB projects on the water and food nexus in their countries, and they seek general knowledge exchange on the topic, as well as direct project exchanges and expert guidance.

The ANWFLW is designed as a peer-to-peer learning exchange between project teams from Asia and the Netherlands Water and Agri/Food Sector. It began as an annual event in 2012 and since 2018, it’s been held every two years. The theme for this 2025 edition is Water for Food, with a focus on ADB projects that require solutions on various aspects of the water and agri/food nexus.

NWP is currently preparing a complete program for the week, consisting of presentations, project focused sessions, expert coaching, field visits and social elements.

With above as background, we kindly ask you for some initial input and feedback. Following that, we will connect soon to discuss your possible role in the ANWFLW. The short questions are captured in a short questionnaire (5 questions), using this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeeFWu1SEe7ZLeJHhYKojXOhDXR-dmW3Hv20nfqTrsLiv1rzg/viewform?usp=dialog
