Policy Dialogue: Working with Local Institutions to Improve Market Access for Young Agripreneurs

The meeting will focus on: "Better Market Access for Youth Agripreneurs: Working with Local Institutions", and aims to:

• Facilitate an interactive dialogue between youth champions, representatives of local government institutions in Kenya and Tanzania and private sector associations representatives

• Facilitate regional learning on what works in collaborations with these institutions

• Co-create concrete actions to improve market access for youth agripreneurs

Representatives from the Local/County government departments of youth and agriculture in Kenya and Tanzania, as well as representatives from private sector associations such as Agricultural Council of Tanzania (ACT) will engage in discussions to help improve market access and foster better collaboration with youth champions.

Youth champions will actively contribute to the discussion by sharing their experiences and insights on approaches to improve market access for youth. We encourage online participants to join and contribute their expertise towards co-creating actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
